The Rabaconda Street Bike Tire Changer is designed for both cast and forged as well as for wire-spoked wheels, offering extra rim protection. It's adaptable to wheel sizes between 12-21", has great ergonomics at low weight, and is perfect for both single and double-sided swingarms. Universal adapter for single sided swingarm wheel hubs to be used with the Rabaconda Street Bike Tire Changer. Works between 32-68mm hubs. 

When using the adapter:

1. install the adapter on the wheel hub and tighten it by hand. 
2. place the wheel over the standard center spindle

For information: The original spindle is 20mm and together with the stepped busher it can be used on hubs between 20-32mm.

For information: You also need a wider Duck Head Kit for cross-spoked rims where spokes run out to the sides of the rim (like on modern BMW GS, Triumph Scrambler, Triumph Tiger, newer Honda Africa Twins, Ducati Multistrada, Moto Guzzi V85, etc.), where the side of the rim is thicker due to spoke placement and standard duck head will not fit. Suitable for 56mm hub sizes of single sided swingarm wheels (like some Ducati models)

15mm Spindle Kit for smaller hub sizes than the original spindle on Rabaconda Street Bike Tire Changer. Works on hubs between 15-20mm

The kit includes:

• 15mm spindle 
• 18mm wheel hub adapter
• adapter for the duck head ratchet system

When using the kit:

1. screw the 15mm spindle fully to the center spindle socket on the main leg
2. place the wheel on the center spindle 
3. if needed, add the 18mm hub adapter to reduce free play
4. insert ratchet system adapter to ratchet system center hole
5. place the ratchet system on the center spindle

Wider duck head for cross-spoked rims (a.k.a. laced rims) where spokes run out to the sides of the rim (like on modern BMW GS, Triumph Scrambler, Triumph Tiger, newer Honda Africa Twins, Ducati Multistrada, Moto Guzzi V85, etc.), where the side of the rim is thicker due to spoke placement and standard duck head will not fit. 

IMPORTANT: Standard duck head is not suitable for cross-spoked rims!

Always check for wear and tear on the duck head. If the duck head becomes scratched by damaged rims or sand on the rims, then it will start scratching also next rims.

This tire iron is specially chosen for using with the duck head of the Street Bike Tire Changer. After testing out a number of different shapes and lengths of tire irons, we've found this is the best one to accompany the street tire changer.
