Muc-Off Wet Chain Lube was developed by our team of in-house boffins to provide maximum protection, no matter what mother nature can throw at your chain! The polymer formula penetrates deep into the chains links, to reduce wear and friction to a minimum in even the harshest of conditions.
Our non-drying hydrophobic lubricant film sticks to every link even during a long, rain soaked ride! Rest assured that Muc-Offs Biodegradable Chain Cleaner will remove it quickly when the time does come for a clean and re-application!
An added benefit to our unique formula is that it includes a UV Dye, which means you can accurately see the lubricants specific coverage when using a UV Torch. This also allows you to wipe away any overspray that may have otherwise gone undetected.

May we introduce our high performance, state of the art motorcycle chain lubricant - the ceramic based Muc-Off All-Weather Chain Lube.
After years of research and development, we identified that there were some big differences with what riders want and need from a chain lubricant. After all, Racing motorcycles, touring motorcycles and off-road machines are all going to have different chain lube requirements. Muc-Off All-Weather Chain Lube is the first of its kind and is set to revolutionise chain efficiency and performance for all motorcycles covering longer distances and is ideal for tourers or commuters as you can go far longer between reapplication intervals.
Our unique water repellent, ceramic, non-fling formula penetrates deep into the chain link. This creates a durable protective coating which will guard your chain against corrosion and metal to metal wear, in all weather conditions. Why do I need a specific lube for my e-bike?
Higher torque loads put more strain on your eBike drivetrain, so we have formulated specific lubes to include our unique eBike lubricity additive pack that laugh in the face of the extra torque to withstand a beating from even the most powerful eBike drivetrains. These state of the art formulas all offer class leading corrosion protection, and are highly efficient in terms of friction reduction to ensure the maximum power goes into the going faster and is not lost in drivetrain inefficiencies. The All Weather, Ceramic Wet and Dry Weather lubes have been developed to withstand the high torque lubes that are put through an eBike chain keeping your e-machine running smoother for longer.
What do the high torque loads on an e-bike do to chain and how does the lube combat this?
The high torque loads on an e-bike will wear down the chain much quicker than on a normal bike due to the increased and instant surges in power from the motor. This puts more strain through the chain and chain rings which will lead to higher friction from more metal to metal contact, which will lease to wear, if the correct lube isn't used. Our e-bike Lubes were developed to combat this with their unique blend of synthetic oils, a high level of bespoke additives and Boron Nitride which mean they will last longer and reduce friction across the drivetrain, even under the increased loads.
If there is increased wear on the e-bike chain does using the eBike lube make the chain wear the same as on a normal none-bike?
Using our e-bike lubes will help to dramatically reduce fiction while riding and will keep the chain running smoother for much longer than a traditional lube, however there will always be higher stresses on the chain due to the power assisted motor reducing the life of any chain more so than on a normal bike.
Is the lubrication interval the same as a normal bike?
We would recommend cleaning and re-lubing your e-bike chain more often, as often as you can...after each ride if possible. Doing this will prolong the life of your chain and other drivetrain components which can be costly to repair.

Boron Nitride is an advanced particle which is present in our lube. It offers increased levels of durability and wear resistance as well as excellent lubrication properties. It forms a stable tribofilm, which is important to achieve improved tribological performance needed from an ebike specific lube.
